Interior Maintenance and Installation Techinician

Superplants

  • A practical yet customer facing role suitable for someone with a keen eye for detail, and preferably a love for plants! We are hoping to find a self-motivated, reliable team member with good time keeping skills.

    • The role involves work as part of a team and also independently, maintaining living plant displays to the highest standard across our client sites.

    • The work will be spread across a variety of prestigious business clients and hotels in Central London so a neat and tidy appearance is a must (company uniform will be provided).

    • Good communication and literacy skills are essential, and the successful applicant will be fluent in English

    • Training will be provided for the successful applicant, but experience or knowledge of plants is an absolute bonus!

    • There may be a requirement for flexibility to perform any other duties and objectives which may be necessary from time to time which may include light manual handling duties.

    • Full driving licence preferred, but not essential.

  • Location: London Interior Supervisor / Head Office

    Salary: £25,500 - £26,000 per annum when based on a 40-hour week. (this will increase post prohibition). Initial 6-month probationary period, with a review after 3 months.

    Working hours: 2–3 day week, (preferably Monday, Tuesday, and potentially Wednesday). Approx 16- 24 hours a week. 8 hour working day with 1-hour unpaid break. Start time 6:00am. Flexibility sometimes required for early starts/late finishes, dependant on job.

Shakespeare Birthplace Trust

  • The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is the independent charity that cares for some of the world’s greatest Shakespeare heritage in his home town of Stratford-upon-Avon. It is the global centre for learning about and experiencing the works, life and times of the world’s best-known writer.

    Through the five historic Shakespeare family homes, internationally designated museum collections, award-winning learning programmes and digital channels, we provide imaginative, immersive and interactive opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to get up-close-and-personal with Shakespeare.

    • The day-to-day general supervision, care and maintenance of the Trust’s gardens and land, and to provide support to the Gardens Manager in the sustainable development of our gardens to ensure they make a positive contribution to the visitor experience.

    • Working as part of a small team you will be helping in the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the five gardens, ensuring that they are ready for the public.

    • You will be able to talk knowledgeably to visitors whilst working in the gardens and confidently answer their questions.

    • You will display the Trust’s values of Outward-facing, Ambitious, Innovative, Collaborative,

    • Excellent and Responsible during your time at work, your interactions and communications.

    • To be successful in this role you will be an experienced gardener, ideally having a horticulture qualification.

    • You will have a keen interest in horticulture and experience of horticultural methods and practices, and using horticultural machinery.

    • You will have excellent interpersonal skills, have a proactive approach to work and be a good team player.

  • Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon

    Salary: £20,820.80 to £21,767.20 per annum (pro rata’d), dependent on knowledge, skills and experience.

    Working hours: 14 to 35 hours per week, to be agreed with the successful candidates.

    Your working pattern will normally be 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, but you will be expected to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of the weekend duty rota.
