  • Boningale Nurseries is a leading supplier of hardy nursery stock to the commercial landscaping sector. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Executive to join our sales team, working closely with key departments across the business.  

    This hybrid role includes regular travel across the UK to meet prospects and customers, alongside set office days at our main nursery in Albrighton. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Sales, your primary focus will be researching and approaching new leads with the goal of onboarding new clients. 

    • Research and approach new business prospects and opportunities. 

    • Attend meetings with clients both on-site and off-site across the UK to strengthen relationships and drive business growth. 

    • Gather and share relevant, customer and market information to support business growth. 

    • Support wider business functions and help facilitate effective communication across departments. 

    • Work towards set KPIs, maintaining detailed records of outcomes and performance. 

    • Represent the business in a professional manner at events and tradeshows

    • Proven experience in developing new business and building client accounts.  

    • Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and through electronic communication. 

    • Strong knowledge of plants and horticulture is essential. 

    • IT literate and confident in using a range of systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM software. 

  • Location: Hybrid, office is in Albrighton, with travel

    Working Hours: 9 hours p/w, 8.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am – 4.00 pm Friday. 

    Salary: Competitive plus car allowance

Sales Advisor

  • Boningale Nurseries is a leading supplier of hardy nursery stock to the commercial landscaping sector. Following recent growth and company restructure, we are looking to strengthen our sales team.  

    Based at our main nursery in Albrighton near Wolverhampton, this role reports to the Head of Commercial Sales and includes regional travel to visit key accounts when necessary. The role requires the successful candidate to manage customer accounts, nurture customer relationships on a daily basis whilst also tendering, pricing, tracking opportunities and conducting regular follow ups.  

    We’re seeking a driven, self-motivated individual with strong plant knowledge and experience of the commercial landscaping industry coupled with good communication and negotiations skills which are essential. 

    • Collaborate with the wider sales team to price incoming enquiries and manage customer accounts professionally. 

    • Schedule and conduct regular follow-ups with customers regarding outstanding quotations, negotiating orders to successful completion. 

    • Support the wider team by ensuring efficient and accurate order processing. 

    • Work towards set KPIs, maintaining detailed records of outcomes and performance. 

    • Attend meetings with clients both on-site and off-site across the UK to strengthen relationships and drive business growth. 

    • Proven experience in tendering, estimating and quoting with demonstrable responsibilities in a similar role. 

    • Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and through electronic communication. 

    • Strong knowledge of plants and horticulture is essential. 

    • IT literate and confident in using a range of systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM software. 

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. 

    • A full UK driving licence is required due to the need to visit customers on-site.

Garden Centre and Nursery Worker

  • Originally established in 1964, this working nursery has been run by the Kidd family, originally by James Kidd, who then passed it onto his 4 children, who up until November 2025 were running the business very successfully. It is now in the hands of a new owner, looking to continue the great work that has been set over many years, with fantastic ideas for the future. The majority of plants on sale through the year are home grown, as well as a selection of bought in stock. This business is set among the trees and a river in Stoneclough, Radcliffe, loved by the community and loyal customers. It is more than a business; it is a growing part of the strong history of the surrounding area. 

    • Growing, managing and maintaining plants on site including watering and feeding  

    • Monitoring of pests and diseases, including occasional pest and disease management 

    • Ability to care for plants including deadheading and pruning when required 

    • Helping and advising customers with their questions, concerns, and providing advice on plant care 

    • Ability to work on the till and assist in the shop 

    • General management and organisation of growing space, including the rotation of plants at different stage of growth 

    • Liaising with other members of the team to ensure smooth operations across site   

    • General site maintenance (jet washing, repairing benches, working with tools, weeding, etc)  

    • Ensuring clean and organised working spaces  

    • Strong knowledge, enthusiasm and experience working in the horticultural industry  

    • Ability to work in a physically demanding role. Good physical stamina and ability to work in varying climate conditions as greenhouses can often be hot and humid 

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    Salary: £25,397.00-£27,500.00 based on 40hrs a week, depending on experience.
