Seasonal Assistant Gardener

    This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop your horticultural skills, and work with a highly respected company that has been shaping London’s green spaces for over 35 years.

     

  • 🌱Assist with grass cutting, hedge trimming, and general garden maintenance

    🌱 Work with a team to maintain high standards in commercial landscapes

    🌱 Learn how to use a variety of horticultural tools and equipment

    🌱 Develop valuable skills while working in some of London’s most prestigious locations

    • Previous gardening or landscaping experience (preferred but not essential)

    • NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture (or similar) Just finishing your training? – Highly desirable

    • Full, clean UK driving licence – Highly desirable

    • A positive attitude, good communication, and a strong work ethic

    • No formal qualifications? No problem! If you have a passion for gardening and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you!

       

  • Location: Our projects span across West and North West London, so if you’re based in this area, this could be the role for you.

    Hours: Monday - Friday 07.30 - 16.30 hrs 40 hours per week

Nursery Assistant

  • Glenavy Garden Centre is a family run business located in Glenavy Village Main Street in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

    We’re passionate about making it as easy as possible for anyone to grow and develop their own garden. We have a large selection of items, services, as well as a community of avid local gardeners, to make it all possible.

    • Potting

    • Transplanting

    • Pricking off

    • Filling pots

    • Filling shelves

    • Watering

    • Fulfilling orders

    • Heavy lifting as part of job role.

    • Must be able to work either on own or as a team and use initiative, in a fast paced environment.

  • Employment Type: Part-time - 24+ hours per week

    • Serving customers

    • Creating displays

    • Ensuring all plants and shrubs are properly and healthily maintained. 

    • Must be able to work either on own or as a team and use initiative, in a fast paced environment.

  • Employment Type: Part-time - 24+ hours per week (will include some weekends)
