I’m delighted to see this new group formed as we have such a fantastic industry with a long and strong future ahead of it. To see the younger generations working together to develop their own skills and attract other likeminded people to the industry is wonderful.’

“Horticulture has given me the most rewarding career wrapped up in the most engaging hobby. That’s why I am so committed to the aims and objectives of YPHA. I fell into horticulture as a career entirely by accident but now with YPHA we have a great opportunity to make sure others find their way – by design rather than chance - into our sector.”

“I feel very lucky to have found a career I love in horticulture, surrounded by some of the most supportive and inspiring people you could hope to meet. That’s why I’m so proud to support YPHA and help young people in the industry thrive and build fulfilling, long-term careers. I’ve been hugely impressed by the YPHA founders for creating such an incredible group, which has grown to over 1,000 members. Their energy, vision, and commitment are shaping the future of horticulture, and I’m proud to be associated with them.”

  • Pippa Greenwood

t“This is a fantastic and truly useful initiative, Horticulture is a great industry and very dear to me, but up until now there was no cohesive body representing the (far too small) contingent of younger people involved. It is they who hold the key to horticulture’s future and I am thrilled that The YPHA has been launched and look forward to working with them at every opportunity.”
